The Mugshot of Criminal Misconduct

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I've had a lifelong interest in the criminal justice system and psychology which led me to a career as a paralegal.  Combining my legal interests with my love of writing in 2012 led to the creation of Criminal Misconduct.

My overriding desire and drive behind this site is to remember, honor and respect the victims.  I feature crimes that are nationally and internationally well-known and those that are more local to their areas.  I share cases that are solved and unsolved; missing persons; and homicides.

For any of the cases mentioned on this site, if you have relevant information, please contact the authorities.

If there are any cases you'd like to see on Criminal Misconduct, please contact me via psychoticbooks@yahoo.com.

  1. Why hasn't anyone ever looked into how they convicted Barbara Stager in the Murder trial. While it is widely known that she is guilty, no one questioned the fabricated audio tape that ultimately helped convict. It was not him on the tape, someone fabricated it. Probably the detectives or a family member or friend of Russ

    1. Why do you say that? The only people who claimed that the voice on the audio tape wasn't Russ's were Barbara, her parents and her son Brian. Everyone else, including Russ's students, coworkers, friends and Russ's family swore that was him.
